Anyone else paranoid about parking dings in Abu Dhabi?

So I've had my car for about eight months now and I swear the parking situation here is a different kind of stress. Between tight mall garages and people who just swing their doors open without a care, I've already collected two tiny chips on the rear quarter panel. Nothing major but it drives me nuts every time I wash the car and see them. A buddy told me I should stop stressing and just look into paint protection film since he got it done last year and his car still looks showroom fresh even after all the sand and sun. I started reading up and apparently Trusted Paint Protection Film serves car owners across Abu Dhabi, which is convenient since I'm in the city most days. Still on the fence though, is it actually worth it for a daily driver or am I overthinking this? Curious what you all did with your cars.
