Well, I parked the car outside overnight and woke up the next morning to find that crack had spread all the way across the passenger side in the heat, and now it's definitely beyond repair and needs a full replacement. I've been putting off dealing with it because I'm genuinely stressed about finding someone who can do it properly without messing up the calibration for the rain sensor and the lane departure camera that sits behind the glass. My car has all those driver assist features and I know from reading horror stories online that if the windshield isn't installed correctly or the wrong glass is used, those systems can throw errors or stop working entirely which is dangerous. I need to find a Professional car windscreen replacement service in Musaffah Abu Dhabi that actually understands modern vehicles and uses OEM quality glass with the right brackets and mounts for all the sensors. I'm also worried about the adhesive curing time because I've seen places rush the job and then the windshield shifts or leaks afterwards, which is just a nightmare waiting to happen. I'm not trying to cheap out on this because it's a safety thing, I just want it done correctly the first time without having to go back and argue about warranty issues later. Also, any idea if insurance typically covers this fully or do I need to pay the excess and claim it back?
