Keeping rehearsal cues clear

Post by GraceWame »

For a dance practice session, I am adding recorded counts to a generated backing track. The opening bars contain a buzzing edge just before the first movement starts. The dancers need a dependable count-in and clear rhythmic markers more than a polished recording. I encountered remove suno artifacts while researching the buzz, and I want to evaluate any processing against that practical requirement. I have not tried a repaired version and cannot assume that a quieter buzz would make the track easier to follow. Would a complete phrase following the spoken counts provide a useful test at ordinary class volume? Holding the spoken layer fixed should make changes in the backing easier to judge. I would listen for softened attacks or a less obvious downbeat as well as any reduction in the buzz. What would count as an unacceptable loss of rhythmic clarity for this kind of practice track?
