BO7 Freerun camo's a pain bought a boost on U4GM

If you logged in after the April 30 update and felt pulled in six directions, you are not alone; between Totenreich, Endgame, weapon tuning, and players testing a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby to warm up, the patch is noisy. The trick is not playing everything first. It is knowing what actually moves your account forward.
CoD BO7 Season 03 Reloaded: What Changed First
Totenreich rewards careful pacing
Totenreich is the headline for Zombies players, and honestly, it has more bite than I expected from a mid-season map. Set in Eidskallen, Norway, it adds extreme cold events that slow movement unless you work around heat sources. The Flammenfalle Trap is not just a panic button; it creates a warm zone and gives weapons a chance to trigger Napalm Burst, which makes it useful during tight rounds rather than only boss waves.
The Necropincer is the enemy to respect. Its trident pressure and defensive claw can punish players who keep backing up in straight lines. From what I have seen, the safer habit is to rotate early, pull enemies through heat zones, and avoid burning all Essence on doors before you have a trap route planned.
Operation Broken Mirror is for built loadouts
Endgame now leans harder into Zone III and above. Operation Broken Mirror asks squads to gather Diagnostic Data and push toward the Virus Injection Glitch, a Nightmare Difficulty arena boss fight. This is where individual Operator loadouts matter. A messy build that works in casual Zombies may fold fast here.
CoD BO7 Season 03 Reloaded Loadouts, Maps, and Fast Progress
The weapon patch changed more than the notes suggest
The May 1 tuning pass made the Strider 300 Sniper much snappier, cutting fire time from 280ms to 170ms and improving ADS to 440ms. That is a real shift. Personally, I would test it before writing it off as a niche pick, especially on sightline-heavy multiplayer maps.
The 1911 Pistol took a hit with max damage range reduced to 10.2 meters, so it is less forgiving as a pocket finisher. New toys complicate the picture: the Siren can ricochet charged projectiles with the MFS Deflection Core, while the Katana is pure close-range attitude. The Warden 308 Badlands Pistol Kit sounds ridiculous on paper, too: Akimbo Marksman Rifles with one-hit potential to the neck and upper torso. Fun? Yes. Balanced? There is still some debate on that one.
Map choices should shape your session plan
Onsen is small, steamy, and chaotic. Hacienda gives medium-range players room to breathe. Summit returns with Wall Jumping, and that one mechanic will separate patient movers from people sprinting into angles for no reason.
For Freerun on Ascent, the Innovate Universal Weapon Camo requires a sub-14-minute finish. Do not run it blind for an hour. Use a route.
1) In Zone 1, wall-kick from the middle wall to the far ledge and skip toward Checkpoint 10.
2) In Zone 4, use a G-Slide off the ledge toward the Yoichi food truck to bypass the standard wall-jump section.
3) In Zone 9, climb with vertical wall kicks on the yellow walls, then G-Slide between screens to skip the final ladder.
CoD BO7 Season 03 Reloaded Myths and Smart Priorities
Do not chase every shiny reward
The Ambition Richtofen Operator Skin and 10,000 XP from the Totenreich Main Quest are worth targeting, but not if your squad keeps wiping before round control is stable. Same for Cursed Mode camos like Jade Legion and Heliotrope. Nice cosmetics. Bad timing if your fundamentals are sloppy.
Endgame has better high-tier farming if you can survive it. The Mega Abomination in Nightmare Zones guarantees an Exotic Weapon Case, although individual exotic drop rates, such as Pulsebreach from regular Nightmare loot, are not verified yet. I would not build a whole weekend around unconfirmed odds.
Settings and security are part of the meta now
Side note here: PC security requirements may matter more than another attachment swap. The incoming TPM and Secure Boot checks through Microsoft Azure Attestation can push non-compliant players into limited matchmaking, away from standard cross-play. Check your BIOS settings before your squad night, not five minutes after everyone queues.
Use separate HUD settings for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame, then run one focused session: practice movement, test one loadout, and clear one objective. If matchmaking feels rough, a controlled BO7 Bot Lobby session can help you tune aim and routes before going back into the real grind. Small prep beats loud panic every time.
